Counsel Vision

SMS Consent Disclosure

Effective Date: June 29, 2026
Last Updated: June 29, 2026

This page explains the text-message reminder program offered by law firms that use Counsel Vision, a product of KTSS LLC, and the terms a client agrees to when opting in.

When you become a client of a law firm that uses Counsel Vision, you may choose to opt in to text-message reminders about your legal matter. Opt-in is affirmative and voluntary. By providing your mobile number and agreeing to this disclosure, you consent to the following:

I agree to receive recurring automated text-message reminders from my law firm, sent through the Counsel Vision platform, about my legal matter — including case, deadline, hearing, filing, and appointment reminders. I understand that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, that I can reply HELP for help, and that I can reply STOP to opt out at any time. I understand that consent is not a condition of receiving legal services.

Your law firm collects your consent directly from you — verbally, in writing, or through an online form the firm provides. A member of the firm records your consent in Counsel Vision, including the mobile number, the method of consent, and the date it was given. Reminders are sent only after your consent is recorded and only while it remains active.

Before any consent record can be saved, the Counsel Vision platform displays the exact consent disclosure to the firm staff member and requires them to confirm, by a mandatory attestation, that the disclosure was presented to the client and the client affirmatively agreed. The screen captures the mobile number, the method of consent, supporting evidence, and a timestamp. The screenshot below shows this consent-capture screen as staff see it at the point of recording consent:
